BDH is a Mexico-based investment platform focused on the acquisition, development, and repositioning of luxury hotels and branded residences across Mexico, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic. Affiliated with Besant Capital, BDH leverages deep industry expertise and a long-standing track record partnering with leading institutional investors to create and manage exclusive assets in premier destinations.
The platform is designed to build a complementary and synergistic portfolio of luxury hospitality assets in Latin America, strategically assembled to optimize exit value and thematic consistency, backed by institutional governance, rigorous underwriting, and a thematic, sector-specific strategy. BDH brings specialized know-how across the full hotel value chain— from land acquisition and development to brand selection, asset management, and value-driven exits.
Team Experience
Our senior team brings a long-standing track record in the luxury hospitality sector, with over US$2.5 billion in cumulative investments. Collectively, we have led 12 hotel projects from land acquisition to exit, executed brand agreements with global operators, and delivered strong realized returns. Several of these assets have been recognized with awards from national and international institutions, including AMEXCAP (Mexican Association of Private Equity) and HOLA, currently known as ALIS CALA (Caribbean and Latin American Conference)
